Short version: Some links on WideLore may be affiliate links. If you make a qualifying purchase after following one, WideLore may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.

How links work

An affiliate link can contain an identifier that tells a retailer or network that WideLore referred the visit. The retailer determines eligibility, attribution, pricing, returns, fulfillment, and payment. A link does not increase WideLore’s control over the transaction.

Current launch status

WideLore is launching with ordinary retailer search links while affiliate applications are pending. Those destinations are functional, but they may not yet include a commission-tracking identifier. When an approved identifier is added, the surrounding disclosure and editorial criteria remain the same.

Editorial independence

We choose topics and recommendations around reader scenarios, dimensions, materials, maintenance, storage, safety, and tradeoffs. We do not promise favorable coverage in exchange for payment or samples. Compensation does not convert a retailer claim into a verified fact.

No invented testing or ratings

WideLore does not claim hands-on use, laboratory testing, numeric ratings, measured performance, or product ownership unless the article has a documented basis for that statement. Current guides use scenario-led buying criteria and instruct readers to verify live listings.

Prices and availability

WideLore generally uses wording such as “Check current options” because prices and availability change. Confirm the final amount, shipping, warranty, return terms, and product details on the destination site.

Your choice

You are never required to use a WideLore link. You may search for the product or retailer directly. The price and terms shown by the retailer at checkout govern the transaction.
